He reportedly provided a list of one to three teams with which he would be open to signing a long-term deal, sources said. Wiggins' brother tweeted "Hallelujah" in response to today's report of Butler's trade request.

Both the Knicks and Nets are on that list, according to ESPN, with the Clippers as the third potential destination.

Butler, who turned 29 last week, averaged 22.2 points, 5.3 rebounds and 4.9 assists for Minnesota last season. The Wolves will hold their annual media day on Monday, and that should be a lot of fun for everybody. Butler is set to become an unrestricted free agent in July.

The Timberwolves just ended their 13-year playoff drought last season, so the news blindsided a lot of people.
