On Tuesday's first half of the two-night finale show, the acts demonstrated their talent one last time.

Courtney Hadwin has narrowly missed out on taking home the overall title on America's Got Talent.

British teenager Courtney Hadwin has finished in sixth place in the final of America's Got Talent.

And despite the grand stage Courtney more than held her own while joining in on the group's first single Could Have Been Me as she sang along with front-man Luke Spiller. Simon Cowell definitely picked him as a favorite and got him to write a song with Garth Brooks.

Vocalists Daniel Emmet and Glennis Grace were also losers this season, along with comedian Vicki Barbalok and Samuel J. Comroe, while trapeze artists Duo Transcend were brought down to earth. Even the runners up, dance troupe Zurcaroh, were thrilled for him, immediately surrounding him and lifting him into the air upon his win.

Fashion guru Maezawa books first SpaceX moon flight
According to a statement from Elon Musk , it is the Japanese billionaire Yusaku Maezawa who would be flying with them in 2023. Forbes estimates Maezawa is worth $2.9 billion, so he's got deep pockets to bankroll his art addiction and space ambitions.

This revelation comes after it was confirmed by AGT bosses on Thursday that Courtney will join series victor Shin Lim at his residency in Las Vegas.

Simon added: "I always say the most important part of being a star is being remembered and that's what you do. You've got to show your personality, you've got to be a showman".

"After the quarterfinals, he told me I needed to get away from the (card) table, to move away from being small and get bigger", Lim told USA TODAY moments after his victory at Hollywood's Dolby Theatre on Wednesday.

Cowell also said that even if she didn't win, he would sign her to a record deal, so this may not be the last the public hears from the teen.

"America's Got Talent" will be back on NBC after the holiday season with a special "Champions" edition featuring past AGT favorites from the US, as well as "Got Talent" competitions from around the world.
