Kawhi Leonard says he’s focussed on leading Raptors to a championship

Kawhi Leonard held an introductory press conference Monday in Toronto, telling the assembled media that he's keeping an "open mind" about playing for the Raptors.

"Whenever I'm ready, I'm going to be back", the face of the franchise said on Monday's media day. "I have no regrets, but I want to focus on on this team and this journey that we have in front of us". "I'm coming to a great city that loves basketball".

Asked what went wrong last season, Leonard said, "I have no regrets".

Leonard, a two-time Defensive Player of the Year, was traded to the Raptors on July 18 by the San Antonio Spurs.
