And some in the Yankees organization believe, as the Red Sox broadcast hypothesized, that NY ace Luis Severino was tipping his pitches Monday in Game 4 of the AL Division Series, Fancred Sports reported Thursday. A report from Jon Heyman of Fancred Sports states that Severino was tipping his pitches in the game.

Boston Red Sox relief pitcher Craig Kimbrel (46) celebrates after the last out in game four of the 2018 ALDS playoff baseball series against the New York Yankees at Yankee Stadium.

Game 1 (Boston): Oct. 13 - 8:09 p.m.

There's no doubt that Severino dropped the ball in Game 3, when he allowed six runs on three hits in three innings, but no one can question his heart.

Footage from inside the rocket show the two men being shaken at the moment the fault occured, their arms and legs flailing. The three-person crew was subjected to gravity forces of about eight times Earth's gravity for up to two minutes.

After admitting that going with the Yankees in the ALDS was a "bad pick", Sully went ahead and picked against the Red Sox again.

There was talk about the Yankees not giving Severino enough time to warm up before the game, but this theory seems to hold a lot more weight.

The claim appears to be backed up by the following GIF, which showed Jackie Bradley Jr. mouthing "fastball" to Mookie Betts from Boston's bench before Severino threw one during the second inning. Sure enough, he did. It wasn't a good look, especially against a team as potent as the Red Sox.
