The cold open to tonight's episode of "Saturday Night Live" (October 13) spoofed Kanye West's recent meeting in the Oval Office with President Donald Trump.

"The 13th amendment is a trapdoor...and why would you install a trapdoor when you could end up with the Unabomber?", was one of the lines delivered by Redd in an attempt to make West's remarks look even more off-kilter.

As he ranted, Baldwin's Trump realized "this guy might be cuckoo", noting that he's been in a room with both Dennis Rodman and Kim Jong Un, and they "made a lot more sense" than West. Check out clips from the skit below.

"Oh my God, he's black me", Baldwin's Trump said. "He's the black me!"

Thompson's Brown was also listening to West's talk and felt a little concerned for himself.

Writing in the Belfast News Letter, Boris Johnson also called on Downing Street to scrap the Irish backstop. Britain wants any "backstop" arrangement to be time-limited.

On the flip side, Meyers joked that he had worked at "SNL" for 12 years and didn't get to say it once. "Oh my Lord! What have I gotten myself into?" he says in an internal monologue.

Trump introduces West, saying it is "in no way a publicity stunt", as West says "I flew here using the power of this hat", referring to the iconic red Make America Great Again hat.

He then hugged Baldwin's Trump calling him "dad".

Inevitably, SNL responded and the result is an approximate guess of what was actually going through Trump's head as West spoke. "So, I want to know how much money does this n**** owe in taxes?" "We're both geniuses, we're both married to lovely women and we both definitely have been recorded saying the 'N-word'".
