Ariana Grande and Pete Davidson break up, call off engagement

Ariana Grande Cancels Charity Performance At Last Minute: Still ‘Suffering’ From Mac Miller’s Death

Ariana Grande & Pete Davidson Reportedly Split, End Engagement

The whirlwind romance of Ariana Grande and Pete Davidson is over. TMZ reports that the couple had called it quits over the weekend. Those are the details that have leaked so far.

It all started in late May, when rumors started circulating that Grande, the pop star, and Davidson, the "Saturday Night Live" comedian, started dating quite suddenly after ending previous longterm relationships.

But things took a darker turn a few weeks ago when news broke that Grande's longtime boyfriend, rapper Mac Miller, had died possibly of a drug overdose.

A source gave more details to People magazine saying, "It was way too much too soon". While they were together, they dedicated warm shout-outs to each other in their work.

Meanwhile, a fan managed to snap an image on Sunday at around noon which showed the Davidson, 24, and Grande leaving NBC headquarters at 30 Rockefeller Center and getting into a waiting black SUV.

Since then, the singer has been largely absent from social media, cancelling scheduled performances and delaying her tour indefinitely.

German train station locked down after man takes woman hostage, police say
He did not confirm local media reports that the suspect attacked the girl before taking the woman hostage. The suspect was "seriously injured", however it's unclear if he was in police custody.

HuffPost UK has reached out to representatives for both Ariana and Pete for further comment. Neither has confirmed the breakup on social media.

Another Go Fund Me Page was called "Pete Davidson In Need Of A House" and people had already begun donating money to it.

Grande began dating Davidson nearly immediately after her split with Mac Miller went public.

Grande also told fans on Wednesday that she was working hard to take care of her emotional health.

Grande previously canceled her gig as the musical guest on the September 29 season premiere of Saturday Night Live, for "emotional reasons", executive producer Lorne Michaels announced.

One aspect of Miller's untimely death that didn't contribute to Grande and Davidson's split, insiders say, was guilt.
