Apple will host major event at Brooklyn Academy of Music

At Apple's now-confirmed 30 October event, which will take place in New York City at the Brooklyn Academy of Music, Apple is also likely to take the wraps off of its long-awaited successor to the MacBook Air. However, iPad sales have slowed in recent years in favor of laptops and other larger screen devices.

A successor to the MacBook Air is expected to debut at this NY event.
