NFL Set On Mexico City Game Despite Poor Field Conditions

Rams-Chiefs Mexico City Game At Risk Due To Poor Field

If the field is too much of a mess for players to play on, this decision would seem like a no brainer, and the league appears to have options to avoid putting both teams in a tough situation, it only seems fair to move the game back to Los Angeles since the Rams are technically the home team. The Rams will host the Chiefs at L.A. Memorial Coliseum at 8:20 p.m. ET Monday. Not many people are going to bat an eye if a game between, say, the Oakland Raiders and Buffalo Bills is played in Mexico City.

The Associated Press said the field was damaged due to recent rains and several big events.

Meanwhile the Rams have more weapons than most other teams with Brandin Cooks as the deep threat, Robert Woods as the dependable wideout and Todd Gurley as the offensive cornerstone-an MVP candidate who is undoubtedly the best running back in the game.
