The Eagles & Cowboys Coaches Get Into Pregame Scuffle

Eagles’ Darren Sproles Lane Johnson expected to play this week against Cowboys

The Philadelphia Eagles have been one of the prime teams in the crosshairs of critics thanks to visible protests from players during their Super Bowl run and having their invitation to the White House rescinded by President Donald Trump. On the same touchdown drive as Gallup's big gain, Hurns was on the receiving end of Prescott's best throw of the night.

The Dallas Cowboys offseason approach at wide receiver was doubted by just about everyone outside of The Star, forcing Cowboys fans to turn down outside noise and once again trust the direction this front office was going.

But the fog did not lift.

With that said, tensions are high tonight as the two meet for the first time this season at Lincoln Financial Field in Philadelphia.

Philadelphia is now two games back of the division-leading Washington Redskins while the Cowboys now hold the tiebreaker over them. I believe another loss in Atlanta would have to come in embarrassing fashion for an immediate coaching change, but the Cowboys offense has shown more than enough to be evaluated from this point on.

No one covers what is happening in our community better than we do. A loss would plummet their odds to 35 percent.

Apple Stock Hits a Three Month Low Amid Warnings from iPhone Suppliers
Semiconductor stocks were broadly lower with the Philadelphia Semiconductor Index losing 4.4 per cent. Like most device makers, Apple prefers at least two suppliers for each component.

Eagles coach Doug Pederson announced during his Monday news conference that Darby had suffered a torn ACL in the third quarter of the game.

Yet the offensive frustrations continued. Boos rained down from the stands as the team jogged into the tunnel, fresh off yielding a late touchdown. His momentum-building interception of Carson Wentz in the first quarter lit a spark and his game-saving grab of Corey Clements' foot on 3rd and 2 saved the day, forcing a futile fourth-down play that the Eagles could not convert. "Dak, I just got to say, when you have those questions all around you, and you play through that, it just reinforces my support of Dak".

The defense, fueled by a pair of Michael Bennett sacks, kept them in it, but bend went to break eventually as Ezekiel Elliott galloped for 151 yards on 19 carries (7.9 average) with a touchdown, hurdling defenders along the way.

Dallas took a 10-3 lead into the half before Elliott and Prescott got rolling.

That's good news for the Eagles, since they play the New Orleans Saints this week. The defense didn't generate any takeaways and broke down at inopportune times - a theme throughout the first half. Matthews returned to the Eagles this season. But at some point, a team has to be accepted for what it is. And while there's never a good time for injuries, this comes at the worst time for Philadelphia.

"It is always great when you get to spread the ball around to everybody", Wentz said. "I kind of sensed, 'Uh-oh, we got to figure this out really quickly". What can we do differently?
