Superstar Salman Khan is the richest Indian celebrity for the third year in the row, as per the 2018 Forbes India Celebrity 100 list. The list has been formulated based on the earnings of each actor in the year 2018.
This is for the third time that the 52-year-old actor, who will be next seen in Dabangg 3 and Bharat, has bagged the numero uno spot in the Forbes list.
Although he was placed on the 18th spot on the list last year with earnings amounting to Rs 48 crore, this year, comedians such as Bharti Singh, Sunil Grover and Krushna Abhishek raked in more money than him.
Hardik Pandya turned out to be a huge gainer on the list of sportspersons, as he bagged Rs 28.46 crores in 2018 as compared to Rs 3.04 crores a year ago.

Shah Rukh Khan slipped down from his No. 2 position to No. 13 after raking in Rs 56 crore this year.
Despite having retired, Sachin Tendulkar stayed strong at the ninth position, surpassing PV Sindhu, Rohit Sharma, Hardik Pandya, Suresh Raina, Saina Nehwal, Shikhar Dhawan, Srikanth Kidambi and Vijender Singh, who also found their space on the list. At the 11th rank stood music maestro AR Rahman, while other music celebrities on the list included Arijit Singh, Shankar-Ehsaan-Loy, Amit Trivedi, Diljit Dosanjh and Badshah. With a yearly earning of Rs 50 crore, Rajinikanth is at the 14th spot.
Actress Nayanthara, whose earnings stand at Rs 15.17 crore, is the only woman from the South Indian film industry to make it to the list, following the success of her dark comedy, "Kolamavu Kokila" and the thriller "Aramm".
