After tying down key players in the form of N'golo Kante and Cesar Azpilicueta, Chelsea is now hoping to keep hold of Belgian star winger Eden Hazard. But Chelsea dug in their heels and insisted he was going nowhere.
Onda Madrid says that, after a summer of flirtation between club and player, the LaLiga giants have agreed terms with Hazard, whose Blues contract runs out in 2020.
"He wants to play Champions League football - he hasn't this year - but if they can get that spot for next year and add a couple of top quality players then it can [help] change his mind".
Madrid could also seek to include Mateo Kovacic in the deal.
The report claims that Los Blancos have agreed to pay €170m for the Belgian global at the end of the season, whilst Mateo Kovacic will also be included in the deal as he makes his loan deal a permanent one at Stamford Bridge.

The Reds dominated possession for the rest of the half as they looked for a second goal, however they entered the break 1-0 up. Bournemouth (7-6-2) enters the matchup seventh in the league table with 23 points accumulated through 15 matches.
"I want Eden here, of course", said the Italian.
"I know very well that there are discussions between the club and the manager of Eden every week, I think, so if there is something new, the club will call me immediately".
Their contracts are up at the end of the campaign and they are locked in a standoff over the length of the new deals being offered.
Chelsea FC will now turn their attentions towards their showdown with Premier League leaders Manchester City at Stamford Bridge on Saturday evening.
