"We continue to provide our guests with a variety of ticket offerings to meet their needs, while helping us to spread visitation, better manage demand and deliver a great experience", Disneyland spokesperson Liz Jaeger told the OC Register.
More visitors are expected for this summer's opening of "Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge". The price of a ticket for a high-demand day is up to $149.
But their latest price-points will see the cost of some tickets, annual passes and parking reflect an increase of a staggering 25 percent - with the cheapest tickets now costing more than $100.
From now on, low-demand day prices will be $104. They were previously $135.
Disney World's price increase did little to dampen enthusiasm for the Florida park, which was forced to close its doors to new visitors at one point on New Year's Eve last year, according to CNN affiliate WKMG. And on peak-demand days?
The cheapest annual pass now costs $399, up from $369.
‘Alien: Blackout’ is a Survival Horror Mobile Game Starring Amanda Ripley
Alien: Isolation is finally getting a sequel, but it may not be the sequel you've been clamoring for since 2014. Alien: Blackout will be available on iOS, Android, and on the Amazon Appstore.
It will now cost $1,949 (previously $1,579).
Someone else likened the cost of going to Disneyland to that of attending a big-league athletic event: "Pretty soon it will go the way of pro sports season tickets and stadium food".
Disney representatives said that more days will be blocked out in 2019 for most annual passholders than they were past year. "Disney has invested heavily in promoting itself as a lifestyle brand, and its dedicated fans won't abandon it over these price increases".
And if you want to take advantage of the MaxPass, a digital ride-reservation system on your smartphone, be prepared to pay an extra $5.
