The film narrates the journey of a chaiwala emerging as the Prime Minister of the nation.
The film's tagline reads as 'Deshbhakti hi meri shakti hai.', and the film's team has been working on the project for the past 2 years. "We will shoot all over India - Mumbai, Gujarat, Uttar Pradesh and Delhi". Vivek Oberoi took to Twitter by sharing the first look of the movie and captioned it in Hindi, Tamil and Telugu as, "जय हिन्द". It was released by Maharashtra CM Devendra Fadnavis in 23 different languages.
