AMD 7nm Vega GPU

AMD Launches Next Radeon VII GPU, the World's First 7nm GPU

You can see AMD's flashy new trailer for the Radeon VII as shown in the keynote address below.

The graphics card is based on AMD's 7nm Vega 20 architecture and packs 16 compute units/3840 stream processors that operate up to 1.8GHz (about 14 per cent faster than the Radeon RX Vega 64) and 16GB of HBM2 memory.

AMD is billing the Radeon VII as the go-to card for content creators as well, showing more than 25 percent performance increases across Blender, DaVinci Resolve 15, and Adobe Premiere. It also provides seamless, high-refresh HDR5 gaming at 1080p, ultrawide 1440p and 4K, and enables next-generation photo and visual creation applications on razor-sharp, vibrant 8K monitors.

The Radeon VII is created to offer a proper response to NVIDIA's RTX 2080 which, until now, did not have a competitor on the graphics card market.

Furthermore, the new AMD GPU also features a 4,096-bit memory interface and 1 TB/s memory bandwidth, the ideal combination to provide users with hyper-realistic looking content and ultra-high resolution textures. It delivers up to 35 percent higher performance in Battlefield V when compared to the Radeon RX Vega 64 card, and it delivers up to 25 percent higher performance in Fortnite.

Trump storms out of shutdown meeting with Democrats
Only three other Republican Senators have said the shutdown should end: Susan Collins, Cory Gardner, and Thom Tillis. That means that if enough senators stick together, they hold up legislation until the government reopens .

Other gaming royalty that came out on stage to gush about AMD and their new products included David Poldfeldt, managing director from Ubisoft, and Sam Mathews co-founder of leading eSports team Fnatic. That means AMD Radeon FreeSync, AMD FreeSync 2 HDR, along with a 4,096-bit memory interface. Jen-Hsun was talking in front of a small group of journalists and didn't stop at digging out the Radeon VII.

AMD's performance claims should put the Radeon VII on par with the Nvidia GeForce RTX 2080.

The AMD Radeon VII releases on February 7th, will be priced at $699 and we are pretty sure that there will be some third-party benchmarks prior to its launch so stay tuned for more!

AMD also bundle Divison 2 with the new Radeon VII GPU and some Ryzen GPUs. "We want to be the technology of choice for gamers and developers across the entire ecoystem of PCs, consoles and cloud".
