At the time of writing the event is only dated for release on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One, but Capcom has promised that it will come to the PC at a later date.
Capcom released an announcement trailer for the upcoming Witcher crossover back in December; revealing Geralt arriving in the game via a portal. The collaboration will be coming to the game's two console versions on the 8th of February, as part of a free update.

There's plenty more Monster Hunter World to look forward to in 2019, of course. This date only applies to PS4, and Xbox One, with PC to follow at a later date. This limited event can be found on the PS4 and Xbox One server on January 26 and will last up to February 8. Since it's about to hit February, the same month the game was released on consoles a year ago, Capcom will unveil an event quest soon that would feature a new encounter with the Great Jagras.
The quest for this collaboration is really unique because it mixes Monster Hunter: World gameplay along with the RPG elements of The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt to create a really fresh experience we think is going to appeal to fans of both series. Out in the field, Geralt will "utilize his signature fighting style, seamlessly blending swordplay, combat magic, and an assortment of monster hunting equipment".
