Captain Marvel Super Bowl Spot Goes Higher, Further, Faster

Set in the 1990s, the film is an all-new adventure from a previously unseen period in the history of the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

Featuring shots of a devastated New York, the spot also includes flyover footage of Citi Field, home of the New York Mets, signalling that this will be a story of futile hope in the face of insurmountable odds, hope that will sink into a Value-Added Tax of endless sorrow.

While Thanos left behind plenty of emotional wreckage after Avengers: Infinity War, that doesn't mean our favorite Marvel superheroes have totally given up hope.
