When the XFL relaunches in 2020, they'll need to do some heavy lifting in order to shed the stigma still lingering from their 2001 bust.

The news broke yesterday and it was confirmed today that Bob Stoops, the former Head Coach for the University of Oklahoma, will be the Head Coach for the XFL's Dallas team.

Jim Ross noted on Twitter that he is close friends with Stoops and he is very excited about the news and he praised the league for hiring him. But adding Bob Stoops is a great start.

"At first I thought it probably wouldn't be for me", Stoops said.

France recalls Italy envoy over 'unprecedented' criticism: foreign ministry
Di Maio and Salvini both serve as deputy premiers in Italy's right-wing populist government led by Conte. The French foreign ministry said it was a situation "unprecedented" since the end of World War Two.

The official relaunch of the XFL spring professional league will not take place until 2020, but a major head coaching/front office announcement expected this week should increase excitement to a higher level than it's been since the revelation of the league's return. But I respect the guys running things.

Stoops, who received the Walter Camp Coach of the Year Award in 2000 and 2003, has an overall coaching record of 190 wins and 48 losses. "The opportunity to put it together and help it grow".

Back in December, we found the XFL would be coming back and Dallas would be getting a franchise this time. Wrestling entrepreneur Vince McMahon is backing the venture again.
