The band's record label also says they'll present a music prize but the Grammys hasn't confirmed whether or not the band will be there.

Members of K-pop band BTS will go to this year's Grammy Awards, a major music event to be held in Los Angeles on February 10, as award presenters, the boy band's agency said.

The nomination is a major moment in GRAMMY history, making BTS the first K-pop group to accomplish such a feat.

The Best Recording Package is awarded for "the visual look of an album" including the album cover, graphic arts and photography.

The news was earlier reported by United States media Variety and later on confirmed by Billboard, sending fans to celebrate on Twitter using the trend #BTSxGrammys immediately.

Four more players from that 13-man roster are also now all former Raptors: Wright, Jakob Poeltl, Lorenzo Brown and Bebe Nogueira. Memphis also reportedly traded JaMychal Green and Garrett Temple to the Los Angeles Clippers on Thursday.

Are you looking forward to BTS' first-ever appearance at the Grammys? Taylor Swift, who is up for best pop vocal album for "Reputation", may also be a no-show. The show will be broadcasted live on Mnet on February 11 at 9:50 a.m. KST.

This year's performers include Dolly Parton, Miley Cyrus, Cardi B, Katy Perry, Shawn Mendes, Camila Cabelo, Dan + Shay, Little Big Town, Maren Morris, Kacey Musgrave and Diana Ross, to name a few.

Meanwhile, BTS is believed to be preparing for their comeback, which could happen around this summer. This hasn't stopped the seven boys from teasing fans on Twitter by sharing photos of them recording new songs.

However, fans would never see BTS perform on stage.
