The Walking Dead continues on AMC Sundays and returns Mondays on Fox UK.
Danai Gurira is reportedly preparing to leave "The Walking Dead" television series. According to sources with knowledge of the new deal, Gurira will finish out season 9 and appear in a handful of episodes in season 10 before exiting the series.
Add to that her burgeoning playwriting career, where she has been winning awards and acclaim.
This would mark another big loss for the show, which has seen its ratings slip in recent seasons. Rather, Gurira will return for the tenth season in a limited capacity.
