Netanyahu said many Arab countries were following Oman's lead in moving toward more open interaction with Israel, "including at this conference". Iran, which is this week celebrating the 40th anniversary of its Islamic Revolution, denounced the meeting as a "circus" aimed at "demonizing" it.

As the Warsaw conference began today, Omani Foreign Minister Yousef Bin Alawi Bin Abdullah met with Netanyahu.
