Two years ago, Spotify became one of the first major apps to break into the market, offering Hulu subscription bundles for students. Premium users can now access Hulu series like The Handmaid's Tale and Castle Rock, along with 85,000 additional television episodes.
The big picture: Spotify and Hulu are again joining forces, this time to wage war against Apple and its upcoming video streaming service (which could be combined with Apple Music in a cross-entertainment bundle similar to what we are seeing here). If you already have Hulu (ad-supported) with no add-ons, but no Spotify, you can essentially port your Hulu account to Spotify and get both services for the price of just $9.99/month, instead of a separated total of $15.98/month. Even then, some shows on its service will still have pre-roll adverts because of the terms of Hulu's licensing agreements with content providers.
In April 2018, Spotify expanded the deal, allowing Spotify Premium members and basic Hulu subscribers to link their accounts together for $12.99 a month. Fortunately Spotify and Hulu are teaming up to make life a little easier, and best of all, cheaper for all of us.
Spotify Premium (spot) is the paid alternative to Spotify Free.
Russell Westbrook unleashes profanity-laden tirade at fan after being provoked
As for beating up his wife, I have never put my hand on a woman; I never will. "You and your wife", Westbrook threatened from the Thunder bench.
The joint account does not apply to Spotify Family subscribers paying $14.99 a month for up to five people.
It's a streaming miracle - Spotify is now giving access to all Hulu TV shows and movies through a joint subscription for the regular price of $9.99 a month.
The bad news is that this isn't a permanent deal. After the first month, you'll pay $10 per month. No word on just how many "supplies" that actually refers to.
