The Bachelor season 23 has nearly come to a close, and the outcome is not at all what anyone could have expected when the season started in January. Cassie and Colton Underwood, 27, made their first public appearance as a couple after the events of The Bachelor finale on After the Final Rose. "Yes, they've spent more time together since the show ended filming in November, but Cassie is still only 24, and I just don't see them doing the engagement at the ATFR [After The Final Rose] two seasons in a row".
Here's what got us to this point. Tayshia consoled Colton through the first emotional breakup of the episode, which host Chris Harrison called the worst breakup in Bachelor history. As fans remember, Brown was sent home in seventh place on Underwood's season of The Bachelor, after she went on a one-on-one date with Underwood (where she met his family) and was told that he had better connections with other women. He confessed she was the only one he was in love with. I came in so terrified of what this thing was and if I wanted to be vulnerable with producers, with the girls, with Colton.
What we do know about tonight's episode is that Colton and Cassie need to have a conversation, one that appeared to start during last night's finale.
After realizing that Cassie is "the one" in Week 9, Colton broke things off with Tayshia and Hannah G. while in Portugal. "And hopefully somebody will share their heart with me", said Brown, who said of falling in love, "I'm hopeful for it". Chris brings them out live, and Cassie announces they're "super in love" - but they're not engaged yet.
Jets to sign 4-time Pro Bowl LB Barr
The Jets had big plans for Barr, as they tried to turn him into the high-sacks edge rusher that he wasn't in Minnesota. It remains to be seen how the Vikings will fit the four-time Pro Bowler's contract in under the salary cap.
Chris Harrison: "What if the bottom line is she's just not that into you?" Colton insists that they can have their separate lives, even if they're together, and she seems reassured during an intimate candlelit dinner, saying she's ready to be "all in".
Though it didn't take long for fans to warm up to the quirky competitor, who affectionately referred to herself as 'Hannah Beast'. Honestly - everyone thought Hannah was going to win. There's not going to be a proposal or a rejection in front of a stunning vista. Still, he had two final suitors. Obviously, something has to happen.
Since finding out three weeks ago, Brown, who competed on Colton Underwood's season, said that her "family has been really supportive of me and is really happy".
"I couldn't be more excited to spend the night with Cassie, and I can't wait to see where our relationship can go".
