Its Show Time: Apple’s Next Event To Take Place On 25 March

'It's show time': Apple confirms launch event on March 25

Apple confirms 'It's show time' event on 25 March, to likely launch a TV subscription service

The company didn't immediately respond to a request for comment Monday, but Bloomberg and other outlets suggested that a video-streaming service with free original shows available on iPads and iPhones, as well as a premium service including content from Showtime and Starz, would be featured at the event.

Apple acquired the digital magazine app Texture previous year, which enables you to read a huge number of publications for a single monthly fee, a bit like a music streaming service. The event will take place at the company's new Steve Jobs theater in Cupertino, California.

It's now unclear exactly what will be revealed at the launch with some expecting new AirPods, iPad and AirPower charging pad to be revealed.

Apple aims to bring together its own shows into one central location with content from media companies, saving iPhone and other Apple device users from having to juggle multiple apps for those channels, sources earlier told Reuters.

Halo: The Master Chief Collection is coming to Steam
They'll be releasing the collection one game at a time, so hopefully we'll be caught up by the time Infinite reaches PC shores. Each of the titles in the series will then follow in chronological order, from 2001's Halo: Combat Evolved to 2012's Halo 4 .

Apple has just sent out invites for its next event on March 25.

The TV service is expected to launch globally, an ambitious move to rival services from Netflix Inc and Amazon.com Inc.'s Prime Video.

Some reports said actresses Jennifer Aniston and Reese Witherspoon and "Star Wars" director J.J. Abrams would join Apple at the event. The company has partnered with several publications like The New York Times, Washington Post, Wall Street Journal, etc. This year, Apple is expected to unveil the iPad (7th-generation) that will retain the conventional headphone jack and Touch ID. Apple has also refreshed its lineup previously during its events held in spring.
