In a blog post published just a little while ago, Hello Games says that the first part of Beyond is called "No Man's Sky Online". While the original game may not have lived up to the hype, a few years back in the oven saw No Man's Sky hit back with a vengeance thanks to the NEXT update.
Following a rocky release in 2016, No Man's Sky has gone from strength to strength as developer Hello Games worked to correct its inherent flaws and expand its qualities as a multiplayer sci-fi sandbox of infinite proportions.
Hello Games co-founder Sean Murray remarked that No Man's Sky Online will provide "a radical new social and multiplayer experience which empowers players everywhere in the universe to meet and play together". Murray says that he will "talk more about each component when we know we can be precise" but says that more info will be coming in "weeks", not months. But, it stresses that it doesn't consider "No Man's Sky" an MMO. The massive No Man's Sky Next expansion a year ago added significant new features fans had dreamed of like multiplayer, space battles, and base building. There won't be a subscription or microtransactions, and the feature will be free for all existing players.
Kansas City Chiefs receiver Tyreek Hill under investigation for alleged battery

Are you excited to jump into No Man's Sky alongside other players?
"It went on to bring enjoyment to millions of new players", he wrote, "and it helped to change the legacy of this game we care so much about..."
No Man's Sky hasn't always had a great relationship with multiplayer. Beyond will include three big changes to the game, but right now the team is only talking about one.
